Change is Inevitable
Although wisdom might come with age, so do wrinkles. We can’t stop the clock but we can defiantly stay on top of it. When trying to sustain aging, we have to consider both internal and external wellness.
Internal wellness is to be considered more important than external wellness. Without stating the obvious, eating a healthy balanced diet is very crucial in maintaining a highly functioning body. BUT, there has been research based on the importance of antioxidant-rich teas. According to Dr.Josh Axe, Green, White, Oolong, Rooibos and Black tea all contain antioxidants called polyphenols that protect your cells from damage. These teas also taste great and are very comforting for the fall and winter season! Have a cup of tea in the morning and after every meal for proper digestion and cell function.
As for external wellness, my Father and I have been using a Homemade Anti-Aging Serum from Dr. Josh Axe that we love! My father has suffered with mild Rosacea on his cheeks and this has defiantly helped.
Homemade Anti-Aging Serum
1/4 oz Jojoba oil
1/4 oz Evening Primrose
1/4 oz Pomegranate
20 drops Frankincense
10 drops Carrot Seed
Mix all ingredients together into a dark glass bottle and apply on face, neck and chest every morning and evening.
Helpful oils also include: Lavender, Myrrh and Sandalwood which are high in antioxidants.
