Laundry Today or...Naked Tomorrow

Back to school season means a lot of magic will start happening in your home. One night you are caught up with the laundry and the next there are piles on piles. A common question you may ask yourself is how do my children manage to get their clothes so dirty? Are they studying in the dirt?

Most of us are trying to make strides to cleaner living, even though our children aren’t quite there. Continue making strides with homemade dryer sheets with only a few simple steps!

All you will need are rags, a glass jar or storage container with a proper seal, white vinegar and essential oils of choice.

Dryer Sheet Blend

Mix 1 cup of white vinegar with 25+ drops of essential oils. My suggestion would be to put 10 drops of Purification and 5 of the rest.

Fold the rags and place in your jar or storage container. Moisten but don’t saturate the cloth with the vinegar mixture. Prepare the night before.

Use one cloth per dryer load to freshen laundry. The vinegar smell will evaporate during drying but the essential oil scent will remain.

You can also place this blend in a dark glass container and keep it near the laundry and add 3-4 drops into the softener section and your laundry will smell fab! This blend will also get rid of any musty smelling clothes or towels. I swear by this blend, I’m addicted!
